3D Printed Shank Button
Design: FIT Tiger's Symbol
In 2019, the FIT Tiger's ceremony uniform and its shank button and chest emblem were created by using SOLIDWORKS, the latest 3D modeling software, and Makerbot, one of the industry-leading 3D printers available at the FIT's PrintFX/FabLab.
For the Loop for Good 2020, the FIT FabLab recorded a time-lapse video for the 3D printing making process of the buttons. Special thanks to Muhammed Shahadat and James Pearce (Director) at the FIT FabLab and Faculty Research Space.
